Welcome to PflugFun! Pflugerville’s only kayak rental facility located on beautiful Lake Pflugerville at the intersection of Weiss Lane and Pflugerville Parkway. Our goal is simple, to provide visitors with a fun and affordable way to enjoy the lake the way you should…on a kayak!
Lake Pflugerville is a 180-acre reservoir built to provide the citizens of Pflugerville, Texas with drinking water and has also become the city’s newest family playground. The lake is open for fishing, swimming, jogging, paddling and wind surfing. There is a 3.1-mile walking/jogging trail and 7 fishing piers. Come out and enjoy the sun and outdoors right in our own backyard!
Our kayaks are easy and fun to use! They are sit-on-top kayaks, which means you don’t sit inside an enclosed cockpit but as the name states…you sit on top. This makes it easier to get in and out of and provides paddlers with a more enjoyable experience. We rent Malibu Kayaks, which are known to be some of the most stable kayaks on the market today. We also plan to have canoes, pedal boats and stand up paddle boards available in the summer of 2011. We provide the paddles, safety vests (Pads) and whistles.
